This listing is for a Signed Hand Carved Curlew wood bird sculpture. It’s approximately 12.5 inches tall. Measurements are in the photos. Wendelt, but I can’t find that artist online. Please see all photos for condition and feel free to ask any questions. Thank you for understanding.
Vintage original MCM teak bird sculpture by Danish designer Jacob Hermann Marked on the bottom with Hermann’s mark and Denmark Appears to be teak wood with ebony wood eye. No breaks or cracks. I haven’t oiled the wood or polished the brass. Approximately 2.5″ long and 2″ tall.
The shack is perched on an unfinished wood log base 4 high.
Simeon vintage Signed Haitian Wood Sculpture Woman in Dress. Approximately 9 in height.
Solid and very heavy hardwood. Screech Owl is securely attached to a real log, with bark and lichen still attached. 14.25″ high x 7.5″ wide at base. Owl itself is 7″ high x 8″ long from tail to front.
Eshelman primarily used local woods such as walnut, wild cherry, and ash for his works. Much of his wood was obtained from fallen trees. Bowls were Eshelman’s specialty, but the craftsman also made furniture, candlesticks and various other utilitarian objects.

This unique Sanon piece measures approx. There are cracks in the wood. I do not know if these are naturally occurring due to age and environmental exposures or if from repaired damage.
