Up for sale is a neat piece of folk art / outsider art. Its a carved wood eagle plaque with relief carving of the Lord’s Prayer. I believe it dates to around the 1920s-40s. Good oxidation to the bare wood. Definitely has some age. Found in an antique mall in Pennsylvania but that dealer got it in the Carolinas. Looks potentially southern to me but no proof of it either way. Has a wire on the back and is ready to hang on a wall. 21 and half inches tall. 13 and 3/4 inches wide. 7/8 of a inch deep. See can for scale. Some staining or lack of staining on the back. Back edge has some wear, loss and maybe worm damage. That looks like it might have been there before it was carved. Front looks good though. Some of the beads are missing. A few drying / age cracks but they are only on the surface. See photos and video to determine condition.
