One of the sun ray tips broke off – see photos. An early piece by Pennsylvania folk artist, Barry Leader, from 1981 marked #5. Wonderful, whimsical, hand-carved sun – about 14 and it’s widest. The wood is thick, 1.5. Could use a hanger on the back if you want to put him on the wall. Barry Leader, a distinctive American folk artist and wood carver based in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He is best known for his highly whimsical, one-of-a-kind (OOAK) wood-carved mirrors, furniture, and sculptures, often decorated with vibrant paint, found objects, and animals.
