American Tall OAK HALL TREE with Seat or Bench 1900’s. We are proud to offer an extremely nice estate furniture. It is simple, elegant, and classic all rolled into one. It is a perfect estate piece to gift or wonderful to start or add to your collection. American oak hall tree with a seat or bench. Both beautiful and very well made item. Simple but with some decorative elements that make it special: Fabulous carvings and claw feet. Well thought out design with a mirror, hooks for hanging items, a seat to put on / take off your shoes, and a storage area under the seat. It is an extremely versatile piece of furniture. Although the original intention of this item was by the entrance of the house, have seen them used in creative ways: bedroom, large bathroom, etc. Was professionally refinished in the 1970s. This is an original piece not a later reproduction. It dates from right around 1900. Width is about 40 inches. Depth is about 16.5 inches. Height is about 84.75 inches. It has an older restoration job (1970s) on it which is still in good condition. Some color variations in the finish. The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age.
