What a cool hand carved I would think beautiful statue bust of William Shakespeare. 12 1/2 inches tall aprox. 8 1/2 inches from side to side aprox. 4 1/4 inches deep. Could be walnut or cherry wood. In very well kept condition for age. I pack with bubble wrap and use box. Any questions please ask. If you need more pictures just ask my camera sometimes is not the best. This offering is for an old antique circa 1900’s hand carved folk art crow figure. The figure is carved in a standing position on top of a stepped base. The wood is very light weight like balsa or other light weight wood. He retains his original black paint and mirror chips for eyes. The overall height is app. 9.25″ and the base is 3.5″ by 4.25 The condition is very nice with some wear to the paint on the back of the tail and on the high point areas. This offering is for a group of six antique duck decoy heads dating to the early 1900’s. The smallest head measures app. 4″ by 2″ and the largest one measures 5.5″ by 3″ not counting the peg. Five of the six retain most of their original paint surfaces, one is missing quite a bit. Three of them have minor losses at the bottom edges of the necks as seen in our photo’s. This offering is for an antique hand carved folk art wooden paddle. The paddle was probably made for use at a summer camp or lodge. The paddle has a nicely carved handle and blade design. The overall length of the paddle is 38 and the wood appears to be walnut. There is a crack in the blade the blade that looks like the piece may have been off and glued back on. Otherwise the condition is very nice with a beautiful patina, normal high point wear from use and there are no other cracks, breaks or repairs. This offering is for an antique early 20th century Tramp Art Photo Tower. The tower measures app. 42″ in overall height and 11″ square at the feet. The art work is made to hold 12 cabinet card size photographs and the design includes a removable piece at the top of each frame to allow for changing the photo’s. Below the top group of four photo’s are four drawers. The tower sits on four legs with each leg ending in a stylized carved wooden horse or dogs head. There are four pyramid drops on the underside above the legs which have 14 layers, the drawer front have 8 layers, the knobs at each corner have 7 layers and the frames have 4 layers. The top decoration above the photo’s consists of 42 layers topped of with a small carved finial. There are also carved applied symbols on each of the sides near the top, I don’t know what they are intended to represent. The work has it’s original varnish surface which is in excellent condition with a great untouched patina. There is also some gold painted high lighting and trim and a few areas of red trim. The condition is excellent with minor losses. There is a top trim piece missing on two of the top photo frames and one of the bottom spires is missing 8 layers. This wonderfully abstract Dogon mask was collected by a Peace Corps volunteer in the late 1970s and it was quite old at that time. Measuring 12 tall x 7 wide x 4 ½ deep, the piece has use-worn and weathered dry wood finish with shrinkage cracks and a large chip/chunk missing at the top. The holes on the sides appear to have been drilled WITHOUT modern bit and the inside looks use-worn as well.
