Really great group of 5 hand carved and painted wood folk art figures of men. At least one is pencil signed and dated. One has a piece of his hat missing, some other small signs of wear but overall display very nicely.

BEAUTIFUL WOODEN FOLK ART DECOY. About 34″ long x 7 1/2″ x 15 when extended. Terrific solid body merganser decoy. Oversized, with a whimsical folk art style. Hand painted in earthy greens, browns and black, with a red painted beak and red glass eyes. Crown tuft appears to be horse hair, mimicking plumage. Elongated, exaggerated neck suggests an artist’s interpretation, rather than strict realism. Hinged at the neck, probably for ease in storage, perhaps for use in a lodge or cabin. Structurally sound and intact. No age checks or cracks. Some surface wear to the paint (all visible in the images). A BEAUTIFUL FOLK ART INTERPRETIVE DECOY. ONE OF A KIND!

Vintage Art Deco 1930s Beech or Teak Wood Hat Stand Head Sculpture Mannequin. Used vintage condition with age-related wear, scuffing, and small dents. Has some apparent cracking along seam on the back of the head, but piece feels solid and aesthetic is not affected. Piece measures approximately 16.5″ tall by 7″ long by 5 wide. Up for consideration is an interesting Antique / Vintage carved American Folk Art Totem of heads. The piece measures just under 11 inches in height and is to say the least mezmerizing. This carved wooden sculpture depicts 3 heads stacked on top of each other and of which look like a sort of totem pole or that the heads are connected and popped out much like a jack in the box. It is beyond colorful and exciting. The bottom block has an x carved insignia with alternating red and yellow bands. It comes from an old estate of which it was mixed in with kids toys from the 1920’s and 30’s which were discovered in the attic. It was completely covered over in soot.
