A pair of floral wood carved free standing art sculptures/ mid century modern decor. Flaws ; stress fractures at base where connected to the metal stand, not so noticeable until you lay them down for photos. Sturdy & sit flat. I think maybe made of walnut. There’s a tag on the bottom but I’m guessing the age is maybe late 1980s I can’t be sure. Ne is 20″ tall & the other is 24″.

Vintage 1990s studio craft sculpture signed “Hirsch Brothers’95” on the underside. Abstract facial composition built from layered hardwoods in geometric relief. The face is constructed on a quarter-sawn oak panel with sapele (or mahogany) brows, a central nose in lacewood and walnut, and a segmented mouth using the same woods. Cubist in structure, with angular and block-formed features. Freestanding and mounted on an oak support and base. Good condition with a small chunk missing from the corner eyebrow, which is mostly obscured by the main ridge. Dimensions: 17.75″ H – 10.75″ x 7.5 (base).

ITEM : For your consideration we are presenting for sale a unique abstract shapes wood sculpture by artist, Charles SHOEmaker. The sculpture was on display in the artist’s studio in an upright position. One side, however, is flat, so it could feasibly be displayed in a horizontal orientation (see last two photos that are accompanying the listing). The piece is not signed; however, it came directly from the artist’s studio and is a piece that he constructed. It’ll look great in any setting. 13″ tall x 6.75″ wide x 5.5 deep. Vintage abstract wooden sculpture is titled Bent Triangle. Signed by Reid and dated 1976 Robert Reid? Good used condition, any reference to the size and condition in the attached photos. Characteristics of the Opera. The work has a complex geometric shape that recalls a “folded” or distorted triangle, made with a woodworking technique that highlights the grain and natural shades of the material. It rests on a base composed of several overlapping wooden discs, which gives stability and an additional sculptural element to the composition.
