Antique Vintage Rare ANRI Bacher wood carving Patron Saint St Francis statue. 3 birds, one on his shoulder and 2 on his arm. I believe this statue is no longer in production. It is fully carved by hand. Very detailed, truly a work of patience and Art. Maybe its one of the sculptures that were carved by Walter Bacher himself! St Francis is the Patron Saint of Animals and Nature. Weight: 1.7 Oz. Materials and Technique: It is full round sculptural hand carved out of the finest wood. Characteristic features: very detailed and fine ANRI carving. Technique used surface: threee times stained by hand. Place of Origin: made in Southern Tyrol in Italy. Date of Manufacture: mid 20th century. Condition: It is in a very good condition. But please take a closer look at the pictures for the exact condition. Small chip at bottom on the side on the base. This statue is no longer in production in that size and considerably very rare. It is fully carved by hand not like the ones produced nowadays.
