Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this vintage wood carved fish serves as a charming bait trade shop sign, embodying the essence of folk art. A unique three dimensional wall hanging design, with the letters mounted to “float” in front of the fish. The piece is a good size, one-of-a-kind creation, spanning over 2 feet long! Measuring 25 inches in length, and is the result of skillful carving by artisan hands. The sculpture’s theme revolves around fishing, capturing the spirit of traditional craftsmanship and the rugged allure of the sea. As an original piece, it stands out with its distinctive style, celebrating the timeless appeal of folk art. It is an ideal addition for collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate the beauty of handcrafted art and the storied tradition of wood carving. Please see the photos, as this vintage sign has some signs of use commensurate with age. Some breaks at the ends of the fins. These add to its vintage charm in my opinion.
