Vintage Tennessee signed John Cowden hand Carved folk art. Measures 8″ tall, approximately 5″ wide and approximately 2 deep. Cowden learned to carve wood from his father who was also a woodcarver. He owned John Cowden Wood Carving Shop on Bird’s Creek Road and he worked and carved wood for over 80 years.
