Video available upon request showing cascading action and sound. Vintage executive magnetic kinetic sculpture in burl wood cabinet. This gravity-fed magnetic desk sculpture creates a soothing cascading “rain” sound as the steel balls release from the upper rails and collect on the lower magnetic plate. The movement is powered entirely by gravity and magnetism – no electricity or batteries required. A striking and relaxing conversation piece for an office, study, or home décor setting. Features. Burl wood veneer cabinet. Glass front display. Magnetic cascading steel balls. Gravity operated mechanism. Free-standing design. No power required Condition: Pre-owned and fully functional. Magnetic action works properly and balls cascade smoothly with pleasant wind-chime style sound. Cabinet shows light cosmetic wear consistent with age. Please review photos for detail. A unique late 1990s / early 2000s executive desk accessory and collectible kinetic art piece. Please note: one side is missing the original black fabric/grille insert shown on the opposite side. This is cosmetic only and does not affect operation or sound.
