Vintage Norman Brumm Enameled Cardinal and Trillium Flowers Sculpture on Burl Wood Base. Stamped BRUMM on base. Norman Brumm American Artist 1938 – 2008. Enameled on copper with a burl wood base. Height to the top of the life sized cardinals tail is approximately 10 inches. Overall condition is excellent. The tail has some wear and some copper showing – see photos for details It should not be handled by the tail to prevent further wear. Very life like and sculptural! In good used shape, this is handmade from the 60s or 70s. The piece is so cool, picked up from a full MCM house, unsigned. The dowels might have light chips, and there are light issues from the original carvings. The pieces pop out and will be packaged this way. Such an incredible piece! Smalls 12; 12 swede flowers. All items are previously owned and used. All known, visible, and noticeable flaws are documented at time of listing. Pictures are provided to the best of ability. Some wear on paint of center. Flavia paper label on back. Painted on all sides. From Flavia Gallery at the Disneyland Hotel, Laguna Beach, California. Original Flavia Gallery was opened in the Disneyland Hotel in 1962. A second gallery was opened in Laguna Beach, California in 1965. Some dust in crevices. We have MANY wood cutouts and original oil paintings up at this time. Whimsical and fun for a child’s room or anywhere for a fun folk art look.
