Cast in bronze this rugged old figure depicts all the weariness of the west in his face. His protruding cheekbones with strong mustache are enhanced by the deep set eye sockets. He looks a cross between Mark Twain and Wyatt Earp even though his title is “Happy Stewart”. This piece is signed on the base and is attached to its stepped wooden plinth via a locked large screw. This bust has a lot of age to it, evidence of anatomical understanding in its sculpting and integrity in the way it has captured the spirit of the figure. Signed: Carl Pappe A perfect addition to your rustic home decor or a fabulous housewarming gift idea. This would make a great addition to any antique sculpture collection or a great birthday gift. MEASUREMENTS The sculpture on its base measures 6.25″ wide by 6.25″ deep by 13.25 tall. The bust alone measures 9″ tall by 8″ deep by 5 wide and weighs 11lb 6oz.
