Vintage Art Deco 1930s Beech or Teak Wood Hat Stand Head Sculpture Mannequin. Used vintage condition with age-related wear, scuffing, and small dents. Has some apparent cracking along seam on the back of the head, but piece feels solid and aesthetic is not affected. Piece measures approximately 16.5″ tall by 7″ long by 5 wide. Wooden Articulated Human Hand Poseable Sculpture Artist’s Mannequin. This item is out of my personal collection of artist’s manikins. This is a very nice example of an articulated wooden hand, and in a lovely , almost coffee-tone color. This piece appears to be a female hand compared to most other pieces I’ve seen, as the fingers are all slimmer then usual, save the index finger and thumb. The three slimmer fingers are also in a fixed position, because of their smaller diameter. It is in very good condition, showing no damage except for a small chip on the thumb (see last picture).
