Thank you for the interest in this item. Vintage Fish Nautical Art Metal Brass Copper Sculpture Driftwood Beach House. This is a nice wall art sculpture of three fish. The item is an original metal art nautical sculpture of three fish mounted on a piece of natural driftwood. The fish and some elements are made of metal that looks to be brass and copper or copper toned metals (see photos). The item is not signed by the artist. This item has a great look for your nautical beach house decoration (see photos). The item is vintage. The item measures in total about 21 inches high, it is 7.5 inches from the front edge to the back side and it is about 26 inches wide. The item has had some glue applied (removable) to hold the metal pieces more securely to the base, with some bends to the metal and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). Listed is a 28 inch Nautical Ocean Killer Whale Bait Shop Folk Art Sign/Display. The Carving is 9 inches wide and 1 3/4 thick… The wood that was used is Northern White Cedar.. The Whale Carving is in excellent condition with normal signs of age and wear.. Note: This Carving was been used in an outdoor environment much of the paint has been lost… The Whale surface is in a Blue tone on cedar (appears to be worn light blue paint) which has had coats of oil. It has been used in an indoor and outdoor environment.. The Carving was completed in 1987 than along with others given to local bait shops across the US used for display only…. Since the Whale was used in an outdoor environment it has always had oil preservative on the wood… The Carving has a great amount of detail with very sharp wood-sharp teeth, black rubber blow hole at the top with Glass Eyes inside an old plated washers… The Whale Carving is supported by two round Antique Rusted Round Hangers that are originally from England…. The carving was done and signed by CJ Branby a fish carver from northern Minnesota…. The cost of this carving is driven by the high price of the cedar wood which comes from the great forests of Maine and the great carving details. The Carving is 6 inches wide and 1 3/4 thick… The wood that was used is Northern White Cedar with natural cedar finish. The Whale Carving is in excellent condition with normal signs of age and wear… The Carving was completed in 1971 than given to a local bait shop.. The wood is in a natural aged condition it has been used in an indoor and outdoor environment it has never had any oils or preservatives on the wood… The teeth are very sharp.. It has black tack eyes and a black rubber blow hole at the top.. The Whale is supported by two antique rusted round hangers…. The carving was done and signed by CJ Branby a carver from northern Minnesota..
