Vintage Ornately Carved BALI Wood Sculpture 3-D Relief HINDU Gods RAMA & SITA. VINTAGE CARVED WOOD HINDU SCULPTURE PLAQUE. Stunning vintage hand carved three-dimensional sculpture wall hanging plaque measuring 17-3/4″ tall, 8″ wide and about 1-3/4 deep. Featuring the Hindu God Rama on horseback and Goddess Sita surrounded by worshipers, sculpture is heavily accented with carved florals and pierced vine and leaf trim. Bearing a sawtooth bracket back, I believe the wood is teak. Carving is beyond amazing — can’t imagine the work that went into creating the depth of the dimensional work – condition is excellent – I find no breaks, scuffing, repairs or damage. I’ve tried to include numerous angled photos to capture the depth of the carving. A unique and beautiful piece of artwork – lovely addition to any collection or display!
