Hand-carved folk art sculpture of a pair of oxen harnessed together in a neck yoke. Sutton and dated 1973 to the underside. One of the horns looks to have been repaired after breaking off. The lighter colored ox is missing some hair at the end of it’s tail. Beyond that, the condition is good. Dimensions: 15″ length x 8″ height x 10.5 width. Since this is a fragile item, I ask that you use the original box and original packing materials to ensure safe return.

Beautiful old wood carving of a pair of oxen heads with a yoke. Plaque measures 12″ x 4 1/2″. There is a wire on the back for hanging it. The wood looks like walnut or butternut and the plaque looks like oak. No damage that I can see, just dust from age. Found at an antique shop in Wisconsin.
