Offered here is a beautiful and unique carved wood display of a Northern Spotted Owl by famed bird carving artist Casey Edwards. The technical skill is incredible in this artwork. This striking display was made in a vintage style. The owl figurine features a claw beak, has a turned head looking over it’s shoulder, and has carved and painted feather detail throughout with beautiful blending of burnt sienna, burnt umber and raw sienna colors, and the spotted owl’s characteristic dark eyes, white spotted feathers, and adorable, docile face. It is finished in an antiqued patina. The bird can be removed from its stand. The artist has signed the bottom. The piece measures life-size at 19″ long, and is 18″ high on the stand, while the stand base is 5 wide.
