We do have a little French Bulldog-Donald-so while all attempts are taken to ensure no errant hairs have made their way onto this item-it is a possibility-so if you or someone in your home are highly allergic this may not be a good source for you. He also attends doggie daycare on a pretty regular basis-so while we do not own a cat there is a very remote possibility that another dog may transfer a cat hair to our dog. WE DO NOT OWN A CAT! Really beautiful textures on this vintage handmade tree wood sculpture on a unique faux burled wood scalloped base that has a bit of a tramp art appearance to it but I would consider this in mostly a folk art style no idea on the date and only guessing based on other items at the estate sale that seemed to center around the MCM 1950s area… This piece could be older… Not certain the upper has a glossier finish to it as well as on the base with the bottom of the piece being unfinished condition is excellent for the age with a very small 1.5″x1/8″ surface chip at the arm the points outward… I think a stain would easily cover this but it is not particularly noticeable…… The measurements for the piece include the scalloped base…. Approximate weight before safely and securely packing and boxing for safe arrival to your door is 2# 8oz.
