This is a very old and very interesting 1950’s hand carved solid teak wood sculpture. It was mounted on a black wooden base that has disintegrated so it was removed from the base. The dowels on the bottom are still intact so it can be easily mounted on your own base. It is in very nice clean condition with mild wear and no chips or cracks. I showed it to two different collectors/dealers, they both said it was modern era, certainly northwest coast and one of the nicest ones they’ve seen. It measures 24, the wood is light weight, some kind of soft wood. Large chip on the hat brim of the top figure. Chip on the base lower right foot. Other small chips and blemishes. Note the bit marks all around the very top of the hat (I assume that’s what they are). Small black spot stains, other small white spot stains.
