Terrific Vintage Minnie Adkins Folk Art Possum Carving. Carved Animal Sculpture by Kentucky Carver Minnie Adkins, known for her whimsical carved, Life Size animals, with painted detailed finishes. Momma Possum carries 3 Babies on her tail. Carving is signed and dated 1996 on the bottom of the foot. Excellent vintage condition, with definite, though very subtle signs of age and wear to the Mother. 2 of the babies are missing a foot each, one with a repair to the tail. 1 Baby is different in color and form.
