Add a touch of retro flair to your MCM room or mountain home with this large torch-cut maple leaf sculpture. It’s like nature took a metallic makeover. The leaves are thin metal brass and copper toned, so not enormously heavy for it’s 6′ size. The stems are also metal, and base is actual wood – we think sand-blasted. This sculpture has a hook for vertical display but can easily be displayed horizontally. It was hand-crafted around a natural driftwood branch base, so this is truly a One Of A Kind sculpture. They dated theirs to 1976 but we haven’t been able to verify this. Features distinctive embossed vein patterns with torch edges for added texture. Driftwood branch base adds natural charm. Jere-style design, hand-made but unsigned. Mid-century modern aesthetic. In good to very good condition with only minor scuffs and few outside leaves that have been bent. Top to bottom = 65 inches, Side to side = 34 inches, Front to back = 7.5 inches. We’ve spent 3+ hours packing similar-sized Jere pieces and all have arrived with no damage.
