Completely handcrafted rustic “ONE OF A KIND” Butterfly using 12 different types of wood that blend into one fantastic work. Measures a very large 30″ X 24″ The wood was crafted in overlapping layers for a great 3-D effect. The body is 18″ solid cedar wood with 8″ rolled copper antennas. The various wood types are all handwritten on the back side of each piece along with the completion date of December 11, 1988. As you can see a piece of the lower left wing is missing. If this bothers you it could fairly easily be patched with a small new piece. I think it looks great as is. It is a vintage rustic piece with some other small cracks and distressed imperfections but ALOT of character.
