Significance: Ironwood carving has become an important economic activity and a significant aspect of the Seri culture. Characteristics: Seri ironwood carvings often depict animals found in their environment, such as marine life and desert animals. This magnificent massive and heavy Seri Tribe ironwood sculpture is a part of large wood carvings collection that came from the high end Beverly Hills, CA estate.
