Antique/Vintage Carved, Wood Folk Art Heart-in-Hand. Reminiscent of more sophistocated Shaker pieces, this hand carved wooden hand shows significant wear or weathering. My guess is 30 – 50 years. The paint is chipped, faded, and well-worn. The colors are buttermilk white, deep brick red, and Prussian blue (some visible on one side). I bought this from a local dealer who suggested that it was a fraternal object of some sort. Honestly, I don`t know.
