This listing is for the relatively large cat that you see in the photos. To me, it looks old enough to be considered vintage. I wonder if it is old enough to be considered mid century. I do not know where it was made. It weighs close to 23 pounds 3 ounces. It measures close to 58 inches or 4 feet 10 inches tall. The base measures close to 9 by 7 ½ inches. I do not know what kind of wood it is. The base appears to have been painted black. I think that it is probably hand carved and that power hand tools might have been partially used to carve it. The condition is much like you see in the 23 photos after the general description. There is some paint loss and scuffs and 4 cracks that you can see in the close-ups. Three cracks are relatively short ones on the face and one is a relatively long one on the body. I think that the cracks and the paint loss are a signs of age. I see three small round depressions on the back of the neck and head that I believe are from when it was made. Otherwise, it is generally fine and as shown.
