Vintage Hand Carved from solid piece of Wood – no Artist signature that I can see. It’s a heavy dark wood, mahogany?? – I don’t know – approx. 3.5 total pounds. 13.5 inches tall and the base is 6 inches wide and 7 inches deep. Lovely facial features and expression – closed eyes. A contemplative seated posture. It does have a minor crack that runs up the head behind the left ear – crack is basically superficial and NOT deep – no loose or missing wood – could be easily repaired with wood putty or just leave as is, I love the character this small flaw imparts. There are some tiny tiny white paint flecks mostly head and base – easy to remove. All in all very nice vintage female sculpture – soooo Calming – sooooo Serene – POWERFUL!
