Unique one of a kind hand made Folk Art Americana WW11 era painted 2 prop wooden airplane in good vintage condition. Silver painted plane with red, white and blue accent colors. The Roundel, painted on both sides of plane, used by the U. Armed Forces from Aug. 19, 1919 to May 6, 1942 when they removed red dot to avoid confusion with Japanese insignia. The one piece body of the plane, propellers, top and bottom guns, wheels and axil are wood. The tail, rudder and wings are tin with butterfly rivets. The tin wings show some bending. Paint shows chipping, loss. Vintage model airplane measures 21.5″ in overall length x 21 3/4″ across wings x 7 3/4 tall at nose. The wheels measure 2.5 in diameter.
