Many surfers have an intimate relationship with nature and a special appreciation for the wave. All of the natural world is made of atoms, which are made of particles and all particles are made up of waves So all of infinity is really just a sea of wave forms. This sculpture “Catch The Wave” captures the mid century surfer ethos perfectly and it is hard to imagine the artist not being aware and a part of the surf culture of this period. This powerful and imposing abstract sculpture is hard to ignore. The artist’s use of both concept & material are constantly appealing to the eye.
