As these gouges are cast steel a very sharp edge is possible with a little patience with a oil stone. Looking at the end of the handles it looks as if the gouges have not had a great deal of use. The gouges will require honing before use. Please see photo’s for condition. Looks to be in excellent condition no obvious defects of any sorts except for any age related marks.
