Balinese Keris Holder in the form of a crouching demon with bulging eyes. He is wearing a high intricately carved headdress, jewelry and cloths carved in high relief. There are minor breaks: small ends of toes, to the fingers, and the end of sash on the left side and points on the rear of headdress. Note the crack with starts in the base and goes up the figure into the left shoulder These defects di not detract noticeably from the piece. X 5 ½ x 6 inches. The last two photo show how the Keris was held; because of the breaks in the fingers the keris rest a little unstable. The keris sheath pictured is for showing how the kris is held, it it not included in the sale of the holder.
