A large and beautiful French vitage wooden Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) sculpture. Stunning wood carving workmanship on this sculpture with a large amount of detail and divine facial expression. The Corpus Christi is currently mounted on the modern steel stand with square base and can be easily removed and used for a cross or wall display. The sculpture dates back to the period of the mid 1900’s. For a more detailed description please refer to the pictures. The overall height with stand is 31.1 inches (79cm). Dimensions of Jesus sculpture are height 20 inches (51cm), head to toes 18.1 inches (46cm). Width 15.7 inches (40cm) and the base is 5.9 x 5.9 inches (15 x 15cm), weight 4.9.
