This unique Vietnam era military woodcarving measures 12.75″ wide x 10.5″ tall x 1.25 width. On the top left, the carving depicts what appears to be a UH-1 Huey helicopter which was commonly used in the Vietnam war. The relief carving of South Vietnam on the right is divided into the four Corps of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (AVRN). The bottom is carved with “Vietnam 68-69″ which may have been the years served in the war by a veteran of the war. It is not dated and is unsigned. The wood is stained dark and is heavy (weighs 3 lbs). The piece is in excellent, original, vintage condition. I have searched online for anything similar and found absolutely nothing similar. It appears to be a unique piece of military art, possibly recognizing someone’s service in the war who flew in the UH-1 Huey helicopters. This item is in the category “Art\Art Sculptures”. The seller is “markdot” and is located in this country: US. This item can be shipped to United States.
