A RARE and beautiful wooden sculpture depicting baroque Angel (previously part of the church altar). Outstanding wood carving workmanship with huge amount of detail, wonderfully polychromed (painted in colour) and gold leaf gilded. The Angel is currently mounted on the modern steel stand with square base but can be easily removed and hung on the wall. The Angel carving is dating back to the period of the early to mid 1900´s. For a more detailed description please refer to the pictures. The overall height of the statue with stand is 25.6 inches (65cm). The overall dimensions of statue are height 13.8 inches (35cm), width 17.3 inches (44cm) and depth 5.1 inches (13cm). Base is 5.9 x 5.9 imches (15x15cm).
