For your consideration is a Herring Bros Vintage Large Set of 12 Wood Carving Chisels Gouges London Prize Medal. Each is marked Herring Bros London Prize Medal. Each cutting edge has been sharpened and is ready to use. Some of the set is fairly rare to find like the 7/8 number 11 Gouge, there are fish tails, forward bent, V carver, and overall larger than normal sizes for a set. These carving tools were from my late father’s estate where these were used on large carvings like front doors and murals. Some handles have been replaced and are all tight to the steel on each carver. No damage to any handles but some show more wear than others. Herring Brothers is known for their fine carving tools like these that are at least 100 years old and still work perfectly. If you have any questions please ask.
