The handles are clearly marked Marples as well as the Steel marked Marples Sheffield England. Each size and shape is as follows: 1. 1/4 No No 8 Sweep Medium Gouge, 2. 5/8 No 6 Sweep Medium straight Gouge, 3. 1/2 No 9 Sweep Deep Gouge, 4. 5/8 No 17 sweep Back Bent medium Gouge, 5. 5/16 No 2 Sweep Skew, 6. 1/16 No 11 Sweep Deep Gouge, 7. 1/2 No 1 double sided Chisel, 8. 5/8 No 6 rounded Medium Gouge, 9. 1/4 No 15 Sweep Long Bent Medium Gouge, 10. 1/2 No 5 Sweep Shallow Gouge, 11. 7/16 No7/16 No 6 sweep Medium Gouge No 9 Sweep Deep Gouge. The sweeps are not marked on each chisel so I used The Sheffield List of Wood carving tool Shape & Profile chart by Chris Pye. The case is dove tailed on each corner.
