This is a fantastic example of a 1960s Hopi action style Heheya Katsina Kachina doll bearing gifts for the Hopi children it has wonderful colors and nice accessories including a pretty pink drum with drumstick and a Kwasus Hunter Kachina doll in his hands he also has real fur and a black loincloth with green and red yarn real leather bracelet and belt tied to the belt is a lasso and little pieces of painted wood i believe may represent bells he also has wood earrings painted to represent turquoise i would date this Kachina to being made sometime in the 1960s he is in very good condition for his age no damage or repairs just a little paint loss but it does not effect the appearance he is a good size at a little over nine and a half inches tall i have included a picture with a ruler one foot is slightly raised so he will not stand on his own but he still has his original string for hanging unfortunately he is not signed the Kachina will be securely packed before mailing.
