This is a nice vintage wood carving statue art sculpture (see photos). The carved sculpture is vintage from a collection that I will be offering for sale on line. The carving is made of hand carved wood (see my other listings for more carved items). The carving is not signed by the artist. I would guess the carving to be African in origin (possibly Makonde Shetani), but I do not know the country it is from or who the artist is (see photos and decide the maker, the origin and the age). The carving has been done in a funky abstract style that would work well in a Mid Century Modern Modernist decor (see photos). The item in total measures about 1 foot 10 and 1/2 inches high and it is about 5 inches wide. The carving has some scuffs, some splits to the wood and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This item would be a nice addition to your collection.
