This stunning wood carving of Christopher Columbus was made by Puerto Rican Santero Neftale Negron sometime in the late 1980’s. It’s in excellent condition, no cracks, chips or imperfections. The actual carving has a slight varnish finish. Measures 5 7/8 inches high. The base measures 1 1/4 inches high. He is the son of Jose Negron, a master santero.
