I got the head from Belarus and refurbished it with a wicked sharp edge. I hand carved the handle from spalted ash wood, brought the grain out and coated it with boiled linseed oil. These are made out of solid oak and they are extremely old. Our guess is that they were created in the late 18th century. Truly museum quality with extremely deep and detailed carving. Their origin is from a museum in Greece but they must have been created either in England or most probably in Germany from the Black Forest region…. Read more →
