Belcari Resin & Wood Lady with Water Jug / Vase / Vessel Sculpture measuring approximately 13 1/2″H x 5 1/2″ (wood base) and weighing approximately 3 pounds 3.2 ounces. This is a lovely sculpture with pastel colors of green, peach, brown, turquoise, and cream. The lady stands on a grassy area carrying a water jug / vessel on one shoulder while holding onto her flowing skirt with the other hand. She wears a loose fitted, flowing sleeveless top with one strap falling off of her shoulder. Crafted in Italy with Belcari’s signature in script, A. The wood base has four rubber pads to keep from scratching counter tops. There is also a gold paper tag attached to the wood base that says 1989 Arnart Imports, Inc. Made in Taiwan, R. Auro BELCARI CAPODIMONTE is a 20th century sculpture artist from Italy. My husbands father brought back many lovely pieces of jewelry, porcelain, clothing, perfumes, and household items to his new bride upon his return from Europe after WWII. Many of the items have gone to family, but there are still many items that need a home, and they are listed here. There are also other items, long held family treasures that also need to find new homes, as we have no room in ours for them.
