This listing is for a Vintage African Ebony Wood Hand Carved Sculpture of Warrior with Spear in hand from Free Tanganyika (which existed from 1961 to 1964) , 13 inches tall , about 2 13/16 inches by 2 11/16 inches at base , weighing 470 grams net. Elongated head, carved hair detail , one hand on side and other holding spear , carved dress and base, with an illegible paper label with wear hanging from side. Great facial an body detail. This and a few other wooden figural pieces were collected in 60s through travels and hence have 50 to 60 years of age. In excellent Original vintage as shown condition with no faults noted. Marked at base with a paper stamp glued (HAND CARVED IN FREE TANGANYIKA). Images are continuous and have an order front , back, sides, etc.. and should be viewed in continuous fashion.
