Absolutely stunning carving of a young African or maybe Haitian woman. It looks like may be done by Haitian artist Berrier Buperrrier. Carved out of very hard / dense wood. Numerous of metal nails were used for her hair. About 16″ tall, 7″ wide at the base. A little over 6 lbs. Few nails may be missing and some minor scratches to the surface. Natural, small cracks in the wood. Green paper or velvet type of material on the bottom. No markings unless under the green material. It will be sent insured and signature required.
