Juan Carlos Santiago is quite famous now and his Alebrije carvings are very sought after. This handcrafted piece comes from a private collector who acquired the Alebrijes native copal wood carvings in Oaxaca Mexico area during the 1980’s and 1990’s. Expect imperfections typical of hand-made, vintage Alebrijes copal wood carvings. Please use the pictures to get a good idea of the carvings condition. Size: approximately 12″ tall, 5″ wide, 6-1/2 front to back. The photos show the Diablo color as a neon orange, the actual color is a bright red.
