This lovely vintage statue of Saint Francis has been carved of a heavy, dense wood that shows attractive grain and lots of variation in color from aging. The wood has been left unfinished so it shows lots of natural weathering with cracks etc. This statue might have been outside, I see some dirt in some of the statue’s crevices. Also there is a screw in the base that can easily be removed, it might have been used to stabilize the statue in place. The statue stands 30 3/4″ tall and is 9″ wide and 5 1/2 front to back.
