Beautiful rare vintage Palau Storyboard village scene is very detailed with the man or woman holding a machete while cutting a coconut or breadfruit. The intricate detail in this artwork is a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Palau, making it a collectible of Pacific Island art This piece measures 14″ tall (not including the hanger) x 10 1/2″ wide x 2 tall at its thickest point. This is one piece of wood that was hand carved. On the back side there is a hole from where there was a knot in the wood, this does not come thru to the front and it doesn’t take away from the beauty of this storyboard. I do not see an artist signature on it anywhere. Im sure the wood could use an oil cleaning but I’m leaving that up to the new owner. There are some minor surface scratching but nothing that takes away from this piece of art. Hanger is a screw in hoop and circle.
