The sale is for a large carving of a man with a hammer and chisel sitting maybe on a carved rock and a backdrop with base. The man may be a blue collar type at work and in work clothes taking a rest. The carving is large, unvarnished and may be carved in the natural wood’s color. A metal hanging hook on top of backside for wall mount. Good condition with age related issues. May have nicks in places. An odd carved surface behind hat where hat meets wall. Doesnt appear to be damaged; as found. May have surface wear due to age/use. The backside is more flushed. Sign on right side, E. I cannot find anything on the carver; may not have been a prolific artist. May have paper pulp stuck on the grooves due to ruggedness of the wood.
