Early LARGE wood carving attributed to the late Grand Master Manuel Jimenez of Oaxaca. Manuel is credited with starting the wood carving craft in Oaxaca. His work is featured in numerous Mexican folk art books and museum exhibits. 18″ long x 7 1/2″ tall. Great detail and expression. In very good vintage condition.
