This is an original Jose Pinal wood carving. This looks in great condition with normal age and wear, it looks like his hat was broken at some point and was repaired with glue, this is not noticeable unless it’s being inspected closely, I almost missed it. Elegant solid wood modernistic sculpture by Ecuadorian artist Luis Potosi. Signed and dated 1978, this beautifully designed piece is of a contemporary sculpture of a nude woman washing her long hair.
