Listed is a great 24 inch long Vintage Nautical Whale Bait Shop Sign Wood Carving. The Carving is 6 inches wide and 1 3/4 thick… The wood that was used is Northern White Cedar with natural cedar finish. The Whale Carving is in excellent condition with normal signs of age and wear… The Carving was completed in 1971 than given to a local bait shop.. The wood is in a natural aged condition it has been used in an indoor and outdoor environment it has never had any oils or preservatives on the wood… The teeth are very sharp.. It has black tack eyes and a black rubber blow hole at the top.. The Whale is supported by two antique rusted round hangers…. The carving was done and signed by CJ Branby a carver from northern Minnesota..
